ABOUT DANCE WITH UTICA
Dance With Utica is a 3 Day (July 24-26th) dance and wellness festival aimed to support, educate, and enhance dance opportunities in the Utica community. This event will bring together local, regional, and professional artists, coming from a variety of performing arts backgrounds, to create a unique experience for the greater Utica area. Dance With Utica is open to all who would like to attend. We welcome you to come enjoy dance and fitness classes, educational seminars, as well as networking and performance opportunities. With the support from the community, sponsors and local dance instructors this event will parallel the revitalization that Utica is craving.  

The Story Behind Dance With Utica...

"Dance goes WAY beyond just dance. It has changed my life. My mindset. My thought process. My actions and interactions. It's not just about dance. However it wasn't until college that I realized all this. Until I was exposed to different genres, various thought process and approaches, explorations and improvisations, history and techniques. It wasn't until I was surrounded by such inspiration, thought-provoking, welcoming and talented people that I started to learn what dance really is. Dance With Utica is a chance to expose the Utica community with just that. An experience that will change your life."

Dance With Utica 2019 Teacher Applications

Be a part of the biggest dance event in Central New York! 

Last year, Dance With Utica showcased over 30 different teachers from all over New York State.  If you would like to have the opportunity to be a part of the largest dance event of the year and share your expertise and passion for dance please apply.

Dance With Utica is a 3-Day (July 24-26th) dance and wellness festival aimed to support, educate, and enhance dance opportunities in the Utica community. We are excited to offer Dance With Utica Juniors, open to dancers 12 years of age and younger.

Each Year We Give Away 10 Scholarships To Those In Need
Dance With Utica is honored to pair with the Vinnie Coluzza Memorial Scholarship Fund. Vinnie’s mission was to never allow financial constraints to impede an individual’s desire to explore their interests and hone their talents in the performing arts.
